The Near East University was founded in 1988 by the TRNC Ministry of National Education with the approval of the Council of Ministers of the Ministry of National Education with the high level of education facilities in Nicosia. The best education and training environment of Near East University with 19 faculties, 220 undergraduate and associate degrees, 218 master's and doctoral programs, 8 institutes, 3 colleges, 4 vocational schools, 3 schools and 28 research centers.

Mission & Vision:
The Near East University has developed remarkably quickly in its relatively short period of time since the foundation of the University and has been the largest educational and cultural center of Cyprus.

Language of instruction at many Turkish universities is English. Students whose native language is English do not need to provide any documentation, however students whose native language is not English need to provide proof of English proficiency. Some universities accept a letter of English proficiency from either the coordinator or a professor at the student’s home university. Some universities require a minimum level of proficiency in one of the internationally recognized language or entrance examinations (IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, etc.), while other universities administer their own English language tests.

Visa is issued on the same day of appointment. Visa Fee is PKR 6000.

Students could find part time jobs while studying such as in cafes, restaurants, shops, or even in their universities. After they graduate, they could find full-time jobs in Hotels, Banks, international companies if they have a good knowledge of Turkish and English.
